Types Of Makeup:
Based on application to face makeup maybe of different types used to beautify different part of one's face.

1. Types Of Foundations: Now you can choose from many foundations, so you can get the best coverage for your particular skin type. Foundations along with face powders provide the base makeup for your look.
i. Tinted Moisturizers: Ideal for clear, young skins, and great in the summer, when you want a sheer effect or to even out a fading tan. They soothe your skin and are combined with moisturizing ingredients. They can be blended uniformly with your fingertips. The lightest coverage, this is the product for you if you don't like foundation.
ii. Liquid Foundations: Most popular of all foundations, these can be smoothly applied and offer natural-looking coverage. Creates sheer to medium coverage. It can be applied with a sponge, but many makeup artists prefer to use their fingers as they claim the warmth helps it blend better. Use it sparingly - too much will look like a mask.
imageiii. Creamy Foundations: Ideal for mature and excessively dry skins, these foundations are thick, rich and moisturizing. As they have a fairly heavy texture, they need to be blended well into the skin with a damp cosmetic sponge.
iv. Mousse Foundations: These foundations are ideal for slightly drier to normal skin types as they are quite moisturizing. The best way is to dab a little of the product onto the back of your hand, then dot onto your skin with a sponge.
v. Compact Foundations: These are all-in-one foundations containing face powder as well. They come in a compact, usually with their own sponge for application. However, they actually give a lighter finish than you'd expect. They're great on all but dry skin types.
vi. Stick Foundations: Offers more coverage and is faster to blend than liquid. It should only ever be blended with the fingers or it can go streaky. It's good if you have small blemishes or eye circles and don't want to use concealer.

2. Types Of Concealers:Concealer can be used either with foundation, to get rid of any last-minute imperfections or alone, just to neaten your face.
i. Stick Concealer: Normally found in light, medium or dark, these thick concealers are best for covering spots.
imageii. Cream Concealers: These usually come in a tube, with a sponge-tipped applicator. The coverage isn't as thick as the stick, but the finished effect is natural.
iii. Liquid Concealers: Again these come in a tube. Just squeeze a tiny amount onto your finger and smooth over the affected area. Look for the cream-to-powder formulations, which slick on like a cream and dry to a velvety powder finish.
iv. Wand Concealer: More moisturizing that stick concealers, these are better for covering under-eye circles and evening out the skin tone around the nose.
v. Medicated Concealer: Very drying, these should only ever be used on spots - beware, they are often very pink.
vi. Pencil Concealer: Usually drier that liquid or stick concealers, they are great for covering spots and small blemishes.
