The Gua Langsiar(Cave of The Banshee) is located here.
The second island is Pulau Singa Besar(Island The Big Lion) which houses a wildlife sanctuary and the rocks here are extremely old(over 500 million years). As you cruise between small islands, enjoy views of dramatic sea cliffs covered in lush jungle and witness the spectacular sight of eagles dipping for fish and the crab-eating monkeys foraging for their favourite food. Located in the north-western corner of Pulau Langkawi, Telaga Tujuh (Seven Wells) is a geological marvel. Lagenda Park / Taman Lagenda : Langkawi's "Legend On The Park" is more than just a scenic park with beautiful gardens of vivid local blooms, plants and fruit trees. Cable Car:Also located inside the Oriental Village, the clear bubble shaped cable car takes the 2.2km ride up the mountainside on a 42 degree incline. Gunung Macincang at 708 metres offers a spectacular view. Starting from about sea level, the Cable Car rises from about sea level to an altitude of over 700 metres. Along the near vertical lift, tourists are presented with the towering cliff face named 'Matahari Face'.
The Underwater World Langkawi, a marine showcase featuring both fresh and salt water fish and other forms of marine life, is a must-see attraction. Located at Pantai Cenang, a popular beach on the island, this aquarium features more than 5,000 types of marine life, exhibited in more than 100 tanks of different sizes.  By Road:
From the North South Expressway (NSE), head north to Kedah and take the Alor Setar Selatan exit (Interchange 177) onto the highway headed to Teluk Kechai and on to Kuala Kedah where you can catch a ferry to Langkawi island. Alternatively, you can also catch ferries from Kuala Perlis further north, accessible via the Jitra Selatan exit (Interchange 181) via Kodiang and Kangar on trunk road K3. This route is longer, at 48km from the NSE exit. Teluk Datai is about 30 km or 30 minutes drive north from the Langkawi International Airport at Padang Mat Sirat.
