Cover a craft frame with cute cutout hearts. Make your own hearts out of cardstock and color with colored pencils. Glue on frame.  ii.Tissue Paper Flowers:
Materials Needed:
Tissue Paper in Valentine Colors; Scissors; Pipe Cleaners;
Method:
Stack 10 pieces of tissue paper of a variety of colors. Using scissors, cut the stack into the shape of a dog bone, about 4 inches long. Push a pipe cleaner up through the center of each bone until all are skewered on the stem. Fan them around so they don't lay one on top of another, but create a circle shape. Bend down the top end of the pipe cleaner to keep the petals on. Pinch the bases of the petals so each bone makes two heart shapes, then squeeze and shape the petals into a flower. You can create open blooms or closed buds. To keep the flower from sliding down the stem, wrap the pipe cleaner three times around the base of the flower.
 iii.Valentine’s Day Cards:
Materials Needed:
Collect a Photograph(cut in the shape of a heart) which you can paste on the card;, Glue, Blank Card or a card template Printout; decorative-edge scissors (scallop, wave, etc.), Decorations, 1 large heart cutout, pencil;
Method:
Take the blank card and paste the heart cutout. Outline with glitters and scatter smaller hearts on the rest of the card in a pattern. Paste the photograph ( eg.. photo of you and your Valentine) in the middle of the heart. You can add a glue tape to give it a mounted 3-D effect.Shade the surrounding area in a slightly darker shade. Using decorative scissors give the bottom of the Card a scallop shape. You can decorate your card with ribbons, glitters, paper rose buds.Finally add your personal message and give it to your Valentine along with a bouquet of Lovely roses.
 iv.Handmade Gift Coupons:
Materials Needed:
Rubber stamp alphabets, pencil, Blank papers – Red and White colors (cut in the shape of Hearts), Scissors, Punching Machine, Ribbon;
Method:
Punch holes in two red blank heart shaped papers. Similarly punch holes in few white heart shaped papers.String them with a ribbon, keeping the red ones as outer cover and the white ones in between. Decorate the outer hearts with glitters and rubber stamping. Dress up the hole in the front with a heart-shaped eyelet from Making Memories, and stamp or write on a sentiment of your choice. Inside make your sweetie a coupon book with offerings of a backrub, candlelit dinner, video & popcorn night on the sofa, a free car wash or game of checkers--or whatever else you know he or she will love. Make sure you pay up when they want to redeem a coupon! Write the value of the coupon by hand or use a rubber stamp alphabet.
 v.Valentine’s Day Wreaths:
Materials Needed:
Construction paper (various colors); scissors; glue; crayons; a paper plate;
Method:
Cut the center out of the paper plate to leave a round "donut" shape. This will form the base of the wreath. (This may require adult assistance). Fold a piece of construction paper in half or in 1/4s (for young crafters, folding in half is challenging enough -- more experienced crafters can fold 3 or 4 times to make hearts in "bulk"). Cut a half heart shape out of the construction paper along the folded edge. Unfold your cut out shape and you'll have a perfect little heart. Repeat this process many times -- as you get better, you can make 2 or three hearts at once simply by folding your paper more times. Glue your construction paper hearts to completely cover your paper plate "donut". You can tie a bow and paste it on to decorate further. You can put a piece of yarn on the back to hang it.
