i.Handmade Photoframes:
Materials Needed:
Empty CD boxes; Scissors and glue; Craft supplies and household bits and pieces;
Method:
Open your CD box and take out the paper inserts and the molded plastic piece into which the CD itself fits. Cut your photo to just smaller than the box. You will be fitting it into the back of the box with the hinged edge at the top, so about 4 inches wide and 4 ¾ inches high is perfect, but don’t worry too much! Fix the photo against the plastic with a few small pieces of sticky-tape. Find a nice piece of cardboard, gift wrap or fun foam which will complement your design and cut this to fit snugly behind the photo and to the edges of the frame (4 ¾ inches wide, 5 ¼ inches high). Fix with glue or sticky-tape with the pattern, if any, facing into the box. When your frame is finished you will open the box out to stand it up, so this backing protects your photo. Now all you need to do is draw a line of glue on the outside edges of the front of the CD box and start decorating! Use whatever you have to hand.
Alternatively: Another idea is to use some “artwork” which the children have created instead of a photo, and surround it with something which complements the work. Get a little one to write “I Love You Granny” in their best writing and then stick on their own choice of Valentine stickers and beads, and you will have created a present which will be treasured forever!

ii.Personalised Tote Bag:
Materials Needed:
1 Canvas Tote Bag; Small amounts of material in your choice of colors and patterns; Sheets of felt, in your choice of colors that coordinate with your fabric choices; Pinking Shears; Wax Paper; Sponge applicator or paint brush; "Ok To Wash It" Permanent Fabric Glue;
Method:
Lay tote bag out flat onto your work surface. Insert sheets of wax paper inside the tote bag. This will act as a barrier between the fabric glue and the other side of the tote bag.
Hint: You can insert a wood cutting board wrapped in wax paper to give us a more solid surface to work on.
Using the pinking shears, cut out different sized squares of fabric and felt. Cut out hearts, you can choose any shape you like, but hearts and squares are the easiest. When the thread on your needle gets too short to make the next dangle anchor it on the inside with a 3mm bead and glue. Knot off on the inside of the tea ball. Remove the chain and hook from the top of the tea ball cap. Save the hook, and make a dangle. Add the hook back into your top dangle, then continue to fill all holes in your tea ball top. The fabric glue takes a while to dry, so set your bag aside where it will not be disturbed, for at least a few hours, preferably over night.

iii.Valentine Coffee Mugs:
Materials Needed:
White or clear coffee mug; Puff paints in Valentine Colors(red, pink- for hearts), and other colors for write up;
Method:
Put down newspaper at your work spot. Hold the mug by the handle, and write whatever you want on the mug. You can also draw small hearts of different colors. Let the paint dry overnight.
Note: You should wash your mug in the sink not the Dishwasher.
Tips: Puff paints are found in the fabric painting area of your local craft store.

iv.Fingerpaint Heart Card:
Materials Needed:
2 pieces of paper; Fingerpaint; Scissors or pinking shears; Glue; Optional: Glitter; Optional: A printer (if you want to use heart templates);
Method:
On one piece of paper, create a fingerpaint masterpiece. For a special effect, sprinkle some glitter on the paint while it's still wet. Let it dry completely. If you want a traditional, folded card, fold a new piece of paper in half, creating a card shape. Using the dried fingerpaint drawing, cut out one or more hearts for your Valentine card. If you'd like, use a heart template page and print it out to help you draw hearts. Glue one or more hearts on your card. Write a Valentine message on the card.

v.Valentine Apron:
Materials Needed:
1 Red apron; Felt to Fun Foam (pink or purple or yellow); Pencil; Chalk; Scissors;
Method:
The first step is to cut out your heart shape to trace onto the apron. Simply fold your paper in half and draw the half outline of a heart. Cut it out and open it up. You can also make more than one heart on the apron. Use your heart patterns to trace onto the fun foam or felt. Simply lay your pattern on the fun foam and trace it out. Now, cut out the heart shapes. Next, start gluing the Valentine's Day hearts onto the red apron. You can use fabric glue to adhere the hearts onto the fabric. Let this dry completely before you move onto the next step. Now, take your red puff paint and start writing words in the hearts, like "Love You Granny". You can find solid colored aprons and cut one large heart out and glue it on the apron. Decorate the heart in any way you choose. You can make the heart a face and add some pipe cleaner arms and legs.
