Here are simple tips to become a gala chic in just 10 minutes. These simple 10-minute beauty rituals for you, will turn you into queen bee. This can be done in your office loo! 2 Minutes: Clean, Clean, Clean  Pull your hair back and wash your face. If you have a face cleanser, good, if not just splash cold water in your eyes. This will refresh your skin and put some sparkle in your eyes.
Scrub the face gently with a paper towel to clean off all the dirt. Now apply a moisturiser. Massage it in gently for some time. If you have oily skin, use a mattifying cream instead. Check that your arms and hands, especially nails are clean. Apply some moisturiser to your hands as well.  4 Minutes: Get Smokey A little bit of make-up to get those smokey eyes that'll make all the difference. All you need is a lipstick and "kohl" pencil. For smokey eyes apply some soft eye shadow that has a hint of glitter and add a vibrant eye-liner in retro style. If you do not have your usual make-up kit handy, don't worry. Smear some lipstick over your eyelids and gently smudge it in upward strokes. Now add some "kohl" (on the eyelids) to give a smokey and glamorous feel. Blend and smudge well, else it might look patchy.  Don't forget the mascara. For a curl lift to your eyes, close your eyes and hold your eyelashes upwards with the mascara wand for a few seconds. Apply dollops of mascara coats. Keep the lips nude or apply some gloss. Apply the same gloss on the apples of your cheek to add some colour.  2 Minutes: Hair Dare For your night out set your hair in waves or go for a slick look, whatever is your favourite. If you do not have any styling product handy, wet your hair and simply comb in a side or criss-cross parting and pin it up from one side. If your hair is unmanageable or unwashed, tie a bandana or a head band in the theme colour of your Party.  1 Minute: Add Accessories Accessories are the best way to spruce up any look. Keep some elegant dangler or hoops handy for just these occasions. Wear some beads on the neck, assorted bracelets and bangles. Add a belt or a brooch. Pick up a zippy, chic bag and you are ready to go.  1 Minute: Get Calm Just before you enter the party, or begin to drive to the party, relax. It is very important to calm yourself and become confident. The right attitude adds oodles of charm to your beauty. So take a deep breath; think about a compliment someone gave you and breeze into the party with a confident smile. A happy and confident stride makes all the difference.  |
