Heat and the strong sunshine is a factor to be wary of in the UAE.The use of sunscreen and protective clothing is a must for visitors when travelling outdoors.To prevent dehydration one should drink plenty of liquids. 2. Although Abu Dhabi is a safe city, being an Islamic country women travellers should wear modest, loose fitting clothes and not wear anything revealing.Women travelling alone should avoid public beaches and stick to the beaches of the hotels only.Although western swim wear is allowed in some hotels, in public places it is frowned upon.While dining, women travellers should use the “family rooms” of restaurants.
