Gunung Kawi is a place of historic eminence as it is a part of ancient Bali and consists of several monumental temples, this place is almost 15 kms away from Ubud, and is located in a small river valley and one will have to go down almost three hundred steps to view the entire place along with the tombs and temples, this place carries the history of a king and his four wives , all of whose tombs are present.
