 Museum Semarajaya:
The Bali Museum Semarajaya is a splendid museum which contains archeological objects and traditional artifacts , paintings of great artistes and painters. along with compiled archeological items and traditional objects also exhibiting a wide assortment of traditional weapons, dance and ceremonial costumes, clay and potteries, paintings and furniture. This museum was built by the Dutch who had arrived in 1900 AD, however it was destroyed once by an explosion of Gunung Batur but rebuilt in the year 1925 AD however gained prominence in 1932 AD.  Taman Burung:
Taman Burung is a famous bird park and some of the rarest birds in the world are found here , the kind of birds that are found here are Indonesian South African and Latin american , as the natural surrounding creates an atmosphere close to the description of the original habitat of the birds. Some of the birds found in Tamang Burung are Bali Starling, Jungle birds of Bali, Birds species of Papua, Komodo Dragon, Javan Hawk, Serpent Eagles, Scarlet Macaw, Toucan, Congo Grey Parrot, African Savannah Cranes, Cassowaries, Pelicans, Storks.

This is a traditional village found in the Karangasem mountain area. The walled village is laid out in three parts to suit different functions of daily life in the area : dwelling, gardening and rice farming. The entire set up of the village is mesmerizing and breath taking, it is worth the time of any traveller and a very good holiday destination indeed , the perfect place to destress for its serene demeanor.

The Gedong Kirtya Library, is a source of valuable information about the history and the culture of the state. The library contains an average figure of around 3000 manuscripts written on lontar palm leaves and are stored in special lead boxes, there is a lot of relevant information available regarding the dutch rule in Indonesia.
