It is perched among dormant volcanic mountains and rice terraces and provides views of the sea to the east. The primary draw to Tirta Gangga for visitors is the water palace. A lovely maze of pools and fountains surround by a lush garden and stone carvings and statues. Central Bali:Central Bali is a mountainous area in Bali, mostly popular for it's art, culture, temples and lakes. Between Sanur And Ubud a series of "crafts villages" featuring wood carving, painting, batik, and jewelry.
Ubud is a town in central Bali, Indonesia. After Kuta, Ubud is the other favourite traveler's destination in Bali and is famous as a center of Balinese culture, arts and crafts. The town of Ubud has few sights within walking distance, and you'll need some form of transport to get to the temples in the vicinity like Tirta Empul, one of the holiest temples on Bali, Goa Gajah which is a cave inside which are some fragmentary lingam and yoni (phallus and vagina) statues, as well as a statue of Ganesha, as well as some fragmentary Buddhist Stupas. There is also Gunung Kawi, which dates back to the 11th century, and is presumed to be the burial complex of King Anak Wungsu and his many wives. Other sightseeing attractions are the Botanic Garden, Monkey Forest, Museum Puri Lukisan (Museum of Fine Arts), Museum Rudana, and the Seniwati Gallery of Art by Women.
Bedugul: is an area in the central mountains of Bali. Bedugul Area is composed of 3 lakes (Bratan, Buyan and Tamblingan) and one main town (Candikuning). At an alitude of 1.150 meters above sea level, Bedugul is home to one of the world's best golf courses. Ulun Danu Temple on Lake Bratan and The Bedugul Botanical Gardens are the main attractions of this area. Angseri hot springs lies about 20km to the south of Bedugul.
