When eating out in Bali excluding the lage hotels one is expected to pay atleast US$2.50 to about US$30 for a main course and US$1.50 to US$5 for a beer or a bottle of imported wine may cost US$40 and more, Normally a 10% service charge is included in the bill therefore it is avisable to be careful while being extravagant on the drinks , Hotels at all times add 21% (11% tax & 10% service) to your bill. Most of these Restaurants are open till 10:00 pm to 11:00 pm however there are certain eateries that are open around the clock such as La Porchetta and Mama's in Kuta , Santa Fe in Jalan Dhyana Pura and Padang Restaurants in Kuta, Sanur, and Denpasar.

image Some of the typical balinese dishes that can be tried are Babi Guling which is a pork specialty of grilled suckling pig , then there is Bebek Betutu , which is a duck specialty baked in banana leaves, Sate Lilit made from minced prawns and fish, and also Nasi Kuning,which is yellow rice served during special occasions .All these dishes are available in different resataurants and hotels as well. These restaurants are not only eating joints but also the cutomers are provided with ample entertainment like different culinary events and dance performances.
