imageHow To Get To Bali:
By Air:

There are several direct international flights to Bali from both Asia and Australia, also several domestic flights from within Indonesia Some travellers choose to fly to airports at nearby destinations as they prefer to travel in those areas before they go to Bali. People can fly to Bali via Private Aircraft Charters also, although it is not cheap, it may be useful in certain situations. In order to travel to Bali, one has to look at the airline time table and look for Depansar (DPS) instead of Bali as Depansar is the capital of the Island. The name of the airport at Depansar is NGURAH RAI this airport is loacated at the southern tip Of Bali 8 miles away from Depansar.

How I can buy an airplane ticket from (for bali)and without booking from the internet After reaching the Jakarta Sukarno Hatta International airport, one must try to locate any one of the ticketting counters, as there is Mandala in Terminal 1, Garuda in Terminal 2 and Air Asia in Terminal 3... All these airlines have a flight to Bali atleast once a day either by the Airbus 319 or Airbus 320 although there are many other flights to Bali as well Direct flights to Bali are available as well, and people can get in touch with travel agents through www.yellowpages.co.id

imageBy Rail:
There is no train facility available in Bali however it is advisable to catch the First Class Bima Night Train that departs from Jakarta, as it departs in the afternoon and reaches Surabaya early morning after which from Surabaya one can commute via a Mutiara train to Banyuwangi at the eastern tip of Java and then go to Depansar via a ferry or a bus , the entire amount of time taken to travel this way is almost over 30 hours..

imageBy Bus:
Direct buses from some of the major cities are available to Bali, like Java and Lombok and the fares are cheap including the journey necessary via a ferry to Bali , however it can be tiring to travel this way as the time taken to travel is around 25 hours The bus terminal in Jakarta is called Pulo Gadung terminal and the terminal at which the bus arrives in Depansar is called Ubung terminal, and the terminal at Surabaya is called Bungurasih terminal.

imageBy Ferry:
Many ferries from Gilimanuk at the west of Bali which is the main port for traffic in Java and can be reached through the National Park in Senjara and also from Negara after which these ferries go to Ketapang Port in Java. This Gilimanuk Beach is a connection between Bali and the other Indonesian Islands in the west, and the journey via a ferry takes almost around 30 minutes. Ferry services are also available from the port in Padangbai to Lembar, in Lombok on the East , every few hours and crossings take just over 3 hours.

imageBy Car:
Renting a car from anywhere across the region is not too difficult and just like the bus journey the journey by car includes travelling by ferry as well , therefore it is a combination journey .While travelling in a car , it is advisable to be careful of reckless drivers , large buses and horse driven cars as well , besides the condition sof the roads is not always feasible for a smooth car journey.
