Visa not required to enter Indonesia. Citizens from the following places do not require a visa to enter Indonesia ....Brunei Darussalam, Chile, Hong Kong, Macau, Malaysia, Morocco, Peru, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam, after their arrival are granted a 30 day stay permit absolutely free of charge, which is given only after they present a passport, provided the passport is vaid for another 6 months atleast from the date of arrival.

The (VoA) facility is available for nationals from the following countries...Sweden, Taiwan, Tunisia, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom and the United States of America., Russia, Saudi Arabia, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Suriname, Switzerland, New Zealand, Norway, Oman, Panama, People's Republic of China, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Romania,Kuwait, Laos, Latvia, Libya, Lichtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Maldives, Malta, Mexico, Monaco, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Holland, Hungary, Iceland, India, Iran, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Bahrain, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Cambodia, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Egypt, Estonia, Fiji,Algeria, Argentina, Australia, Austria. However the citizens of the above mentioned countries can apply for a Visa on arrival but only for a 6-7 day or a 30 day period, but must present a passport that is valid for a minumum time of six months at least from the date of arrival in Indonesia , also a very important factor is that they must be in position to show that they have sufficient funds to support themselves during their visit to indonesia, also possessing the completed embarkation disembarkation card that they receive from the airline whose services they avail of. imageAll people travelling with a Visa on Arrival status, after their arival to the Airports in indonesia will first have to got to the Visa on Arrival payment counters to pay the reqired amount of fee and an official bank is always present at the payment counters therefore payments can be made in all major currencies by Master Card or Visa along with getting their passports stamped, after which one must proceed to the immigration check points.
Important Note: Nationals of ALL countries planning to stay for more than 30 days in Indonesia will have to apply for the appropriate visa be it a tourist visa, business visa , social or cultural visa , etc.....at an overseas Indonesian Consulate or Foreign Mission from the country that they are in before they depart for Indonesia. Pets are banned into Indonesia to prevent the spread of diseases like rabies... etc. Pornographic materials , weapons and narcotics are banned. Photographic equipment, typewriters, laptop computers and radios can be admitted, provided these equipment are declared via a customs declaration form that must be completed before arrival and that they are taken out on departure. Currency amounting to more than Rp 5 million is prohibited from being exported and imported. Material like Crocodile skin, Ivory , Tortoise shells and antiques are not allowed to be taken out of Indonesia.
