1. Lanzarote:

Lanzarote is another beautiful island in the archipelago of the canary Islands , some of the beaches here are called Playa Blanca , Las Coloradas , Punta Del Papagayo, Playa Quemada, Puerto Del Carmen, Playa Grande, Playa De Los Pocillos. This Island is one that has been destroyed by volcanic eruptions on several occasions however it has always rejuvenated itself with nature into a beautiful example of natural beauty due to its abundant vegetation , this Island is not very large in the area size therefore can be explored by visitors in a single day by car.

Tahiche: Tahiche which is a village with black ashes at the foot of a unique mountain, near which is a place called the Casas Hondawith several other volcanic caves that had been inhabited by the Gaunches the original inhbitants the island.
Guatiza: Guatiza is a small community which is close to Tahiche in Lanzarote, and Guatiza has a gigantic amount of cacti which was once used to produce a red pigment from a certain kind of insect who used to live in the cacti vegetation. This place is traditional village and a good place for resorts and other cultural attractions.
imageLa Cueva de los Verdes (cave of the greens): La Cueva de los Verdes is row of caves connecting the volcano of Corona to the sea. La Cueva de los Verdes is place of interest to biologist, also there is an exclusive type of white lobster called the Langostino Blanco ( king prawn) well adapted to this area.
Los Jameos Del Agua: Los Jameos Del Agua is a part of a collapsed volcanic tube which extends from Motona La Corona, the entire structure is known as the" Tunnel of Atlantis"and is the largest submerged tunnel in the world. In the 1960's the Jameos del Agua was developed into a nightclub and underground pool by Spanish / Canarian artist Cesar Manrique, in order to enter the place through a winding staircase, very truly an excellent example natures beauty and man made genius, beatifully blended with nature to suit tourist requirements.
imageEl Mirador del Rio: El Mirador Del Rio is a great natural feature which has been quarried into a restaurant by theartistic genius of Cesar Manrique who is a local of the place along with being an artichtect as well, He built this restaurant, with an awe inspiring sense of art combining both nature and the creation of man, one of the most celebrated designs of architecture of the modern world as it built on two geological features on the one hand, the impressive Risco de Famara and, on the other hand, La Corona Volcano. El Mirador Del Rio is a place 479 meters high above sea level and is a huge rock that is 600 meters high on the Risco De famara ( which is 15 kms long or approximately 550 ms high), it gives a panoramic view of the neighboring Islands , also; it was once used during the war over Cuba as a vantage point between Spain and The USA. Las Salinas del Río which is the oldest salt plain the canarian archipelago cab be seen from this point. The Beach at Risco can also be reached from this point. and is opposite to the Islands of La Graciosa, Alegranza, Montaña Clara, Roque del Este, Roque del Oeste and Roque del Infierno are some of the other Islands that can be spotted from this point of El Mirador Del Rio.
imageValle De Haria Valle De Haria is valley in Lanzarote and is known as" the Valley of a thousand palms" and the name is acquired from the tradition of planting palm trees at the birth of a child, one if a girl was born and two for the birth of a boy. The village square at the Haria Valley is beautiful with a good number of restaurants , and there is a weekly craft market held on Saturdays.
La Geria: La Geria is the largest wine growing region of the area surrounded by stone walls, and the wine valley of La Geria is a protected area as well . Malmsey is sweet wine that increases the popularity of the place and on coming here people can also visit the wine cellars, this place also contains thousands of volcanic craters. This places is excellent for walking and cycling in order to explore the unique view, and it also has the appearance of a lunar landscape.
imageLos Hervideros ( the boiling waters ): Los Hervideros is an attraction for the series of caves where there are form s of lava and sea waves that crash onto the edge of the cliffs or rather on the patyhways that had been formed due to volcamic eruption , one can walk around these cliffs on the "natural balconies and the most amazing sight is this that just when the sea hits against the lava holes and shoots right back to the surface as if it were boiling.
El Golfo: El Folfo is a volcanic crater and a rare example of hydrocolcanism where the the beautifuil colour of the green sea water marks an excellent combination with the black sand of the beach forming an awe inspring view.The green colour comes because og the concentration of algae, Rupia and maritima,The crater of this volcano has now formed a beautiful lake named " La Laguna de los Ciclos."
imageThe National Park of Timanfaya: The National Park of Timanfaya is an another example of an Island, which has originated from volcanic eruptions, with a land scape the colours red, ocre and black, gives it a lunar appearance. The volcanic eruptions in 1730 (which lasted six years) and the eruptions in 1824 created new craters, they covered whole villages and buried the most fertile terrain on the island. The road that leads to the national park has on its way Islote de Hilario, a tourist attraction one can see the artificial geysers, which is a scientific trick executed with the pouring of cold water in magma chambers, situated at a depth of three kilometers. One can choose to cover the journey to the National Park of Timanfaya on camel back or by bus. The journey can be covered by foot only through guided routes provided they are pre-arranged with a local tour guide.
