The airport is accessible from all parts of the island by regular bus and taxi services.
2. Tenerife North Airport (IATA: TFN, ICAO: GCXO): The Tenerife North Airport is an international airport located on the island of Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain, 7 miles. Located in northern Tenerife, this airport connects all the seven islands of the Canary Islands. 3. Tenerife South Airport (IATA: TFS, ICAO: GCTS): The public bus service TITSA offers cheap and quick services to all parts of the island and line 340 connects to the other airport Tenerife North Airport which is 44 miles by road. The airport is located in southern Tenerife, in the municipality of Granadilla de Abona.
4. Lanzarote Airport (IATA: ACE, ICAO: GCRR): The airport is located 3.1 miles southwest of Arrecife; the capital of the island of Lanzarote, Canary Islands, Spain. Domestic traffic is concentrated around three destinations: Madrid-Barajas, Gran Canaria and Tenerife Norte. 5. Fuerteventura Airport (IATA: FUE, ICAO: GCFV): The airport is located in El Mattoral, 3.1 miles southwest of the capital Puerto del Rosario of the island of Fuerteventura, Canary Islands, Spain. The access to the airport is by the road FV-1, taking the fork that takes you to a roundabout situated on the outskirts of the airport.
6. La Gomera Airport (IATA: GMZ, ICAO: GCGM): The airport is located near the village of Alajeró, Spain, 21 miles southwest by road from the Gomera island's capital city, San Sebastián de la Gomera. The airport was located here to avoid disturbing the Garajonay National Park and avoid the cloudier and foggier climate to the North of the island, whilst the volcanic terrain gives few suitable sites anywhere on La Gomera, although even this site required extensive embankments at both ends of the runway. 7. La Palma Airport (IATA: SPC, ICAO: GCLA): The airport is located 5.0 mile south of Santa Cruz de La Palma on La Palma in the Canary Islands. El Hierro Airport (IATA: VDE, ICAO: GCHI): El Hierro Airport is located within the city limits of Valverde, and 5.6 miles northeast of El Hierro, Canary Islands, Spain. Air traffic is domestic, with the main origin/destination of flights being Tenerife Norte Airport and, to a lesser extent, the airports of Gran Canaria and La Palma.
By Water: To get to the Canary Islands by water, the main ports are Las Palmas and Tenerife, nevertheless there are many cruises that also stop at Arrecife (Lanzarote).
