Getting Around The Canary Islands:

By Car:
Driving on the roads of Canary Island is good , with good direction postings on the road, since the roads are not too large , it is considerably easy to find ones way back.

By Bus:
The buses in the Canary Islands are known as ‘Guaguas’ ( pronounced as 'wa-wa' )and it is not too difficult to get hold of one travelling to all the major places although they are not as frequent in the smaller islands.

By Rail:
Every island in the Canarian archipelago has its own interurban services going to the main locations but less frequent in areas that are not very populated, however there see no prominent rail routes in the canary islands.

By Ferry:
People have to travel to and fro from one Island to another can do so by the means of a ferry or a fast ferry (jetfoil ) as it is called, The three main ferry operating services are known as Naviera Armas , Fred Olsen and Trasmediterránea. The ferries also travel to and fro between Cadiz and the Spanish Peninsula.

By Air:
Inter inland trips by flight between the Canarian Islands may not be cheap but can serve the purpose of travelling faster.
