Easter Appetizer Recipes:

1. Sweetened Sausage Rolls:
Materials Required: 1 package crescent rolls; 24 servings miniature smoked sausage; 1/2 cup butter or margarine; 1/2 cup chopped nuts; 3 tablespoons honey; 3 tablespoons brown sugar;
1. Open out the crescent dough and separate them into triangles then cut each piece lengthwise into three equal triangles.
2. Keep a sausage on the long end and roll it tightly, and keep aside.
3. Mix the remaining of the ingredients in a baking dish big enough to hold it.
4. Arrange sausage rolls, seam side down, and mix it in butter mixture.
5. Now start baking it uncovered at 400 degrees F for 15-20 minutes till it gets golden brown.

2. Asparagus Appetizer:
imageMaterials Required: 20 thin slices sandwich bread, no crust; 3/4 pound butter; 4 ounces blue cheese, at room temperature; 1 package cream cheese, at room temperature; 1 egg; 20 fresh asparagus spears;
1. Remove the crust from the bread and with the help of a rolling pin, flatten it.
2. Mix blue and cream cheese together with the egg in a bowl till it is blended well and gets creamy. On a slice of bread, spread a layer of cheese mixture over it. Take one asparagus spear and insert inside each, and then fasten it with a toothpick.
3. In a small saucepan, melt butter. To coat it, roll each asparagus wrap in butter. Place on a baking sheet which is in size to fit into the freezer, and freeze for one hour until the time the butter hardens and wraps are firm. Now remove the pan from freezer, remove the toothpicks, and cut each wrap in half size crossways. Keep it in a plastic bag and store it in the freezer till you are ready to use it.
4. When you are ready to serve it, preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
5. Settle the frozen asparagus wraps on a baking sheet, and bake it for 25 minutes till it gets slightly browned.

3. Red Beetroot Eggs:
Materials Required: 1 can beets; 1 onion, thinly sliced; 12 hard cooked eggs, whole eggs; 1/4 cup white sugar; 1/2 cup vinegar;
1. Remove the liquid from the beet and put into saucepan. Place beets, onions, and eggs into a large bowl.
2. Into the saucepan that holds the beet, add sugar and vinegar and boil the mixture. Then reduce the heat, and let it simmer for 15 minutes.
3. Now pour the contents of the saucepan over the beets, eggs and onions. Seal the bowl and keep it in the refrigerator. The longer they are refrigerated, the better they taste. You can refrigerate it for at least 3 days.
